Completed tackles as a percentage of all tackle attempts, including misses and ineffectives. Efficiency above 90 percent is elite: it shows a defender who not only makes tackles but finishes them, and it is the fairest way to judge defenders who are targeted by opposition attacks. This page ranks players across the NRL for the 2026 season. Current leaders include Tyran Wishart, Beau Fermor, Herbie Farnworth.
